149. ERG sat
This is not by my trusty digital camera, but from a website of ISAS.
This one was sent back from ISAS in response to my sending of a support message to ERG satellite.
The antenna for the electrical-field observation of this sat consists of 30 m long wire with 0.18 mm diameter stainless-steel wire.
As a station to extensively use the antennas with stainless steel wires, this is a good example for my explanation to others that no copper wire is necessarily needed, and that small diameter wire is good enough.
148. Jizo statue tied with ropes
Went to Narihirasan Nanzouin located close to Mizumoto park.
As the name indicates, this temple is related to Ariwara no Narihira and had been at a place close to Narihira bridge by the beginning of Showa era.
As in photo, Jizo stone statue at this temple is tied with numerous ropes.
Its origin relates to an amusing staged plot of Edo South District Magistrate / Ouoka Tadasuke / Governor of Echizen Provicne (only honorific position).

147. Mizumoto park
Fine weather brought us to Mizumoto park.
Birds here too looked relaxed.

146. Wild boar?
The cherry at Yoshitaka is in full bloom.
Warning plates for wild boars are seen around Yoshitaka.
This place is the tail of flat uplands extending 20 km or so, and not mountains at all. Still wild boars seem to inhabit this area.

145. Spring
Went to Kawamura art museum.
Dogtooth violet were already in full bloom.
A blue admiral which endured the winter with this adult stage appeared.

144. New boats
Two boats with aluminum hull have been moored at the floating pier of Inba marsh since around the year-end. They seem to be under trial operations.

143. "Setubun"
A mask of "akaoni", red ogre, occupied a corner of a reception of my today's visit.
Well, tomorrow is "setubun", the winter final day.

142. A gambler
The coach of the under-23 soccer team.
Said to be a genuine gambling addict, when he was in "Sumikin" (Simitomo Metal) soccer team before the Kashima Antlers.
His way of proceeding the game is indeed that of a gambler.

141. "Zoujyouji"
Visited Zoujyouji, Shiba.
The "Gulanto matu" (Grant pine), planted by the 18th U.S. president Mr. Grant, looks like a Himalayan cedar as far as we see its trunk. However the branch appearance surely deserves the wording, pine.
The "takigi noh" (torchlight noh) performed under this pine with the gate closed begins with the resounding sound of a great bell of the adjacent belfry. Then this place suddenly transcends both time and space, and turns to the world, gorgeous yet fully restrained, amid the very center of city bustle.

Came to Funabashi port again.
The look of the streets behind brings back memories of my hometown.
